Saturday

*Another sheep died.

Weather very nice! I worked in the garden till nearly dinner. Came in peeled last of apples for one pie. Made a custard and one lemon. Also made rice custard.


Bordens came about 1pm.
Went up to Bob's for the mower.

I cleaned up this room, the kitchen and hall real good, then went up to town.
G plowed his corn again this AM (taken cultivator off).

Lucy K was operated on this PM for busted blood vessel.

Friday

I had lots to do; finished ironing, taken cans to the cellar, put pans away...just one thing after another.
I cleaned upstairs, changed the beds...was really busy all day.
G can't hardly get around, on account of his back. I put linement on it.
