Tuesday
*Red cow
Rainy + Cloudy most all day not very good fair weather.
I finished E's dress. Wew went to 2 corn fields for beans and corn. Sent red cow to Winchester today got $256.00 for her.
He went down in PM Molly Bird is very lonesome; no one now but her and Mike.
G shot big gopher, had a good supper.
Tippy tail is healing up. Got 2 cards in the mail. My flowers are still blooming nice.
August 29, 1951
Wednesday
Had a big wash. Cut grass. Gathered in clothes ironed in PM all of them, cleaned. Sewed some was busy as 2 bees all day....was tired too. I put E hair up. She put mine up Tues eve.

August 30, 1951
Thursday
Real hot. We worked and cleaned all AM.
Got dinner and looked for Hunts, they came late. Had to get their dinner then.
We went up to the fair. Some crowd...Hot as 40!
Came back at 10pm. Tippy staid home. E went along over with Hunts for a few days.
August 31, 1951
Friday
My 49th B-day
Another warm day. Cleaned up all the dishes, mopped down stairs. Will clean up + finish varnishing chairs. Bordens coming tonite. Guess I'll be busy all day. Have gotten 6 cards up to today.
*Got 16 cards in the mail.
