October 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th 1951

October 13, 1951
Saturday

Was finished with one job and then on to another. Washed + fixed up to heads. Cleaned up put away. Roy + D came then we went up to town. Saw Paul B in town.

October 14, 1951
Sunday
Communion at Patmos; E, G + I went up (Tippy too), very good crowd. H wasn’t feeling very good (ate a hot dog). Roy was here allnite, Don up with H Ruth at Coffelt. Mom staid home.

October 15, 1951
Monday

I killed rooster then came Paul and Neva B. They was here till 1pm. Then we got busy; I dyed 4 colors of rags. Seems like everybody was on the go all day. G disking at Bob’s. In evening I went to Sandridge to help with supper. 26 men ate

October 16, 1951
Tuesday

Mom, E + I went up to MJ + old house for pears. Lena, Joe, Marietta came for the room linoleum then E + I got about 2 bu pears got some dishes + things, came home. Eat some dinner, then we killed 3 roosters baked 5 pies, peeled taters + apples. Was tired as 14 dogs!

G was disking for Bob till noon then he started on his; got p along creek ready and went to 7 acres field + got about ½ done.
