September 25, 1951
Tuesday *Pigs?
Man came to shovel F's reservoir out, taken him 3 hours $7.50 per hour. We washed Mom worked on rags. E quilted. I must of messed around!

September 26, 1951
Wednesday
HOGS
ALL three hogs had pigs today!
Mommie had #11 the other 2 had 18.
Was cleaning and stirring all day. E quilting fast. mom working on rags. In evening I had Aid meeting here about 18 with kids.
Run out of gas.

September 27, 1951
Thursday
*GAS
1 pig gone from each lot, leaving to date 27.
I ironed some, E ironed. Mom patched her gown. Made me clothespin bag, E quilted. G slept nap then pulled corn off. I went up to see how ML as taken her to the Dr. Got groceries at Safeway. Had good supper fried fish and fried taters and good cold water.

September 28, 1951
Friday
Cool as forty! E + I made Mrs. W's satin comforter...some job! Mom cut rags. I made fire. Pud and Ethel came for rest of pellets.
