Monday
About 14 above this morning and windy too. Seems like it's zero. Margaret came about 11. Then after she left, Sissy and Anna Jean come; new hats and coat on...was here till after 12. I sent E a letter. G gone.
Operated on Bess for tumor. Sewed on Aid quilt...ready now to put in frame.

Tuesday
Egg 52
Bright and not so cold like last nite...the wind made it so cold. Very nice day G went for eggs. I worked around and sewed some, made E a new apron.
In evening we went up to Lula's to supper; Si, Kat, Aunt Rose, Rosemary, Jim, Garland Rev, Mrs B, Frankie, Kathy's son; G + I, Fred, MJ, Eldena, Esther, Earl, Lula and Karen.

Very nice day..not to cold but snappy sun is bright.
G + Bob R went fishing, didn't see any. I made E new apron or finished one. I messed around all day, was over to R's a little. Carl W was burried at Harrisville this PM...died Sun at Si went there for operation for a bad goiter, to late.
*Had Bess up walking today.

Thursday
Elmer, Drixie, Sissy + Emma Jean left at 2:30 for her home. Cecil and E K went to Farm show at Harrisburg today.
Weather kinda funny this AM, but has cleared up now. Eggs .46
Sent E 2 aprons today. Had big letter from her.
Do you know who G is? I wonder if that is her busband?
