Thursday
Wet, more wet. Rained nearly all day; snow is leaving and creek is up big!
G was out for eggs and then worked more eggs.
Egg 41 today
I quilted nearly all day, got it all done but border. Will try and finish it tomorrow. Had letter from SD, she + Ritchie have moved to an apt will cook their own meals now.

Friday
Sun was out, nice and brite all day!
Ground hog day
Pearlie b-day. Fred C 60 today
I quilted and cleaned some. Watered flowers. Was bad under foot in the evening.
I went along with Mabel and Marvin up to the housewarming for Earl and Ana. About 60 there. Got them a nice coffee table from all the women up here.
Our coldest nite.
Bill and Daisy house burnt between 1-2 o'clock, got everything out.

Saturday
Still awful cold. About 3 above this AM. Awful cold everywhere, icy too. G said it was awful getting around down there. He was wore out. I got quilt done and taken out of the frames. Several days over 1 weeks to get it done. Real purty I think.

Sun out. Brite, but like Ches says, was scandlish cold.
I went up here to Church. Pastor Alvin that married Eva jean preached. He was good. May call him.
In evening we went down to M's got us some Cheeseburgers. Came home at 8, listened to the radio til 11.
i love the idea of such a simple life when a cheeseburger was noteworthy, as was the radio.
