Vintage Cheery and Bright Feedsack Quilt for Sale SOLD!

During the entire month of April, I will be posting snippets of history behind the feedsack, as well as vintage fabrics and quilts.

This quilt is available now on my main Etsy shop, Sage Patch.
This is a tumbling star pattern. This is a lightweight quilt that appears to have a thin layer of cotton batting. It is full of bright Cheery feedsacks, adorable children's Novelty feedsacks and wonderful vintage 40s and 50s fabrics...it is the perfect quilt to brighten up a Child's room.

It measures 78" x 67"

It is tied in multi-color pastel yarn; it has been hand pieced, stitched and then tied. The backing fabric (which folded over on the front and doubled as binding that has been hidden whip stitched) is solid cadet blue; it actually looks as if this was re-purposed fabric used for backing.

I found no holes, tears or loose stitches, I did find a few blurps of what looks like water/liquid dripped on it and one or two age spots, but nothing serious that doesn't look like it would come out in the wash or a light spot cleaning.

Clean, crisp and ready to ship to you!

Available now on Sage Patch @ Etsy w/ last reduction $105.00 plus shipping
