May 29, 1951 Tuesday
Cold + windy had good fire. Sure feels good.
Too wet to work in garden.
G taken Bob's mower home. Then he and C aken 2 calves to Winc. Black calf weighed 170# $50.some cents.
Came home taken truck and went up to Ann P's after Carl's male hog.
I worked at hog yard and put the 3 sows together, pinned the pigs away.
May 28, 1951 Monday
*Dionne Quints are 17 years old today (the 5 girls)

**BEANS
I taken a qt of beans up + planted n corn, this side of the creek. Grandma's cat went along.
I plowed in this garden then now it's raining, so will be wet now.
I fried G 3 of his fish for dinner. He mowed down the alfalfa hay this A.M.
G is wearing a belt of Bob's now for his back, feels some better.
15 past 10, back from taking M.L. to Edinburg. G already asleep. Cats too!
Had several hard showers today. Made some fire...feels good.
