Rainy. Started last nite.
Has rained all day. MJ & H was in, said it rained down there too. G taken Carl's hog home, then he's been in the house working.
Made a little fire in here, feels good.
Time now to do the work...
Poor Pies babies all died.

*Eggs 53*
*Eggs from L's sister's Farm. Each egg has the name of the hen and date...some even have funny sayings.
SS convention at Patmos, a very good crowd. 33 from Patmos and 16 from Fairview, so on. M.L. went out with me, (Mom's stomach felt bad). I had taken G up to Bob's for tractor.
Poots was using it to mow his hay. After he got thru G camem down mowed his down says it awful good stand.
Looks for rain tonite, C broke another pin in the baler, just got it home y'day!
Rev John Locke really spoke fine!
June 6, 1951 Wednesday
Pie's (House Cat) children have a bad cold.
Violets are blooming, pretty now.
Very nice day, little cloudy; made working good.
I worked in yard then in garden takes pushing I tell you!
This eve I baked cake, made fruit salad, made pimento + cheese and cooked off beef.
I don't know what all...getting ready for SS convention at Patmos on Thursday June 7th.
9 o'clock right now and not quite there yet.
No mail much.
Got my first handkerchief from Viola Matherson in Ill.
