Eldina's birthday today

Raining all morning! WET!
G went up to do some work on tractor. Was gone till night.

I didn't do much, either was tired from yesterday..as I did work out here in upper part of the yard, cleaning it out + mowing. Have the lower side yet + out front to do.
No mail much.
Too rainy out; it cleared off towards evening sun came out but still WET!

June 4, 1951 Monday
SHEEP!
Large Marge; I need a new updated pic of Marge, as this was taken on my birthday in January when we visited her. The word on the farm is, Large Marge is gonna be a Momma! Stay tuned!

Fred came to shear sheep. Got along fine, got thru at 12:30. Ate dinner. Then he + G went to Winchester to sale. I went up to help clean up the Church at Patmos. Had some rain but nothing like yesterday.
Came back by M.L.'s then home and done up the work.
Then Ralph came out, was here till 9 o'clock...he's some talker!
G came back and then left again, I guess to sort out work for the morning.
Saw Wayne plowing corn when I came home.

I got a new broom, new mop for Church today; also wax. $6.08

June 3, 1951 Sunday

Beautiful day!
G is baling hay; C's baler broke, so had to get another last night. Boys came up in the PM to watch them. Marg, Alma and Mabel came over too.
It began to look like rain; now it's 15 of 5 awful thunder and lightning, sure been raining really bad. Not good for the hay, but good for the garden and corn.
