July 3rd, 4th and 5th 1951

July 3, 1951
Tuesday

Warm and HOT. I worked at the aprons till noon then J went up to town, paid fire insurance + phone bill. Was up to ML's they were sewing. Bobbie here to mow yard G fixed 1 more place in spouting, but more places to fix yet.

July 4, 1951
Wednesday

4th OF JULY!
Cloudy, not very good picnic weather. Rained last nite again.
Cleared away and was very good for garden.
Was home all day sewing on aprons. Made 7 nice ones. 3 for the shop and 4 for Mr. S

July 5, 1951
Thursday

Warm again and windy. Bobbie and boys came at 9, we got *Mike and plowed this piece we cleaned yesterday for corn and beans. Then we plowed everythign over in teh other garden good. Have several bean poles to go in. Mowed and cleaned up along the barn. Since dinner, I've baked 2 cakes and washed up dishes. G was to Strasbury this AM, now plowing Cecil's corn he planted.
I planted 4 rows of Kentucky wonder beans and corn.
