Saturday
Very warm, rained hard again last nite and several showers today. G went up to town to pay taxes $65.00; didn't get back till 3:30...why?
I patched the clothes that needed mended cleaned up and watered flowers.
Washed cherry seeds.
About 4 of the men went up to Bob's to make hay
It's 8 now and they are not back yet!
July 1, 1951
Sunday
Nice day no rain since last nite. I went up here to chhurch; Rev Watson, cood preacher. Was home rest of the day.
G slept nearly all day. In evening the Fravels + Borden's came about work. Have harvesting and hay to make, and corn to plow.

July 2, 1951
Monday
Cloudy + rather cool, wet too. Will sew some on aprons and work some on grass. Made 2 and part of 3rd apron. Have to have green thread. Men cut wheat for C. Then went up and baled hay for Bob. Came back, baled for C then came over baled for G lots of stirring and going.
I killed 2 chickens, got a mess of beans.
C + Johnny S will eat supper here.
