Very warm + Sunny...+ HOT!
Went to store for rick rack for aprons; finished them, pressed them and they are ready to go.
1930s feedsack apron from L's collectionG plowing corn for last time at Bob's and his own.
Had steak, fried taters, corn + beans for supper. Had Bobbie pulling grass for me, got lots pulled.
Elsie sent Mom a pair of shoes, but too big I'm 'fraid.
July 7, 1951 Saturday
Jr and Charlotte have a new baby girl!
*Turned new bottle of gas on today
Very busy all day; killed 3 chickens for supper + Sunday. Baked cake, picked 2 messes of beans, 1 for Ruth and the other for the Thresh Hands and one for Supper.
Borden's came about 12 in pm. We made freezer cream.
G was away all day threshing; we went up to town, he was home too late to go to town with us.
July 8, 1951 Sunday
Got things ready for dinner, Borden's went along to Patmos...a good many out + had a nice good dinner afterward.
We came home by Bess's and Elsie's.
We taken old man's clothes over in evening.
SD at Colonial Beach for 4 days; a convention for nurses.
