Nice and HOT
Nancy and Shirley are here; didn't do anything much but clean and get something to eat.
No mail from E

*We went up to Fry's to see about a little pup this evening!

Sunday
The girls and I went up to Patmos. Ruth + Roy came for church at Harrisville..was here a little while.
Mabel and husband was here at Patmos first in 40 years! She is 53 now. Taken pictures of church and places, sure enjoyed being back. Girls stayed up.
Some hot.

July 23, 1951
Monday
Some hot today too..
I washed. Worked at my pickles at 2pm we had awful hard storm. Men made hay at Cecil's.
Was to go to Heisman's BUT....
Pie asleep.
Cleaned mess of beans for supper. Had our first corn tonite had real hard rain about 2pm and another one at about 7

G went back to Bill Jakes and got 3 gal of vinegar...such good. 25cents per
