Rainy and cloudy and wet
G gone to take old man's radio to shop.
I've been cleaning. Pie asleep. I ironed.
In pm went up to locker with R for meat.
G worked on rack of wagon.
July 25, 1951
Wednesday
Had a letter from E coming Monday, July 30th!
Some cloudiness some sun
Still wet and muddy. No threshing weather.
Harrisville women are serving dinner in Woodstock today #61
G painting wagon. I finished up 10 cans of pickles like Mat C's. Made 2 pans of soap. Watered all of the flowers. Cut soap out in evening.
G and I went for Blackberries got about 2 gallons.
9 o'clock time to go to bed for today!
I gathered pan of tomatoe had corn on cob for dinner.
July 26, 1951
Thursday
Hot, up to 90 on porch. Mrs Mayhew came this AM was here till evening. I made 9 pts berry jelly. Watered flowers, talked. G helped Coley H haul hay then to Bob's to help thresh. Will thresh up at Bob's again tomorrow.
Am afraid Fravels won't get to take their vacation Sunday.
