If you are visiting this blog, I want to thank you and apologize for the delays in posting daily entries. I will continue to try to post a few daily entries a day.
This is a very busy time for us, as we have our Fall Antique show just around the corner.
Visit us at Sage Patch for details.
Fall is our favorite time of year, aside from getting ready for the show....much like the writer of this diary, we are busy with daily garden upkeep, canning and preserving of our food and making hand crafted items for the show and Winter.
Another reason Fall is special to me, is this means FAIR time. Growing up in Washington, attending the Western Washington Fair (Do the Puyallup! To all you Washingtonians up North!)...is something we looked forward to. We were even let out a half day early from school, better known as 'Fair Day' and given a free admittance ticket!
Walking through the ENORMOUS Agricultural Barns were just ONE of my many favorite things. Growing up in and around Farmland, membership of a Grange nearby was important.
Enjoy these photos of my last visit to the Fair in 2007...I'm sure missing home!
