HOT again; We cut grass, gathered tomatoes. Got beets to pickle. Changing up our room.
August 14, 1951
Tore up this room everything out and painted this linoleum grey, first coat.
August 15, 1951
Lulas 49 B day
Had a big wash. Painted the carpet in here.
Getting stuff ready to go to can.
