Taken carload of stuff to cannery. #133 cans. Got home late!
Severaal put the new carpet down in the Matthews church sure looks good. All paid for.

Friday
E ironed, put cans away and done lots of jobs.
I went along with Audry + Billy ti Alexandria for the day. Sure enjoyed it. Got new curtains and new lamp shades. A got a new dress. Sure got some fine stores in Alexandria.
August 18, 1951
Saturday
Sunday School Picnic on Island. Got many there. MJ too tired, she staid home.
We fixed and went about 11....came home and worked some more then went to town.

Sunday
I went up here to church rest it home resting. In PM we all went up to ML's
