August 20, 1951
Monday

Busy; pickled Lima beans, gathered tomatoes, helped take hogs over in alfalfa field.
I trimmed this linoleum and worked on this clearing up.
Went back to Eva K's to meeting, while E hulled Lima Beans.

August 21, 1951
Tuesday

Busy day; E and I taken car load stuff up to cannery to can #250 cans of stuff.
I came home late and tired feet. Got supper and went to bed.

August 22, 1951
Wednesday

Tired and MORE tired from yesterday. I carried all the cans away. Straightened up and got ready to Wash. Had a big one; was busy as a bee all day.

We put plastic on couch that G worked over. E made 9 cans beet pickles for Audrey.

August 23, 1951
Thursday
*Tail

Aid meeting at Stella's today. E and I left at about noon. G taken Tippy up to Dr Lutz and had tail taken off. Sure was sore that nite but it will be okay.
We ironed some in the evening.
