HCB Bday 70 today; had a big surprise b-day for him last Sunday
We got up at 7:30, done up work went up to MJ to help with eggs. SD home. We got 12 cases ready G+H taken them to Arlington in PM got back at 8:30. Sure was rough and cold + snowed to beat the band today. I came home by ML's, Mom not feeling very good.

Monday
13in of snow in West V. Cold and awful windy today. G helping H today. I got lot of mail ready to go, done all the work up.
November 20, 1951
Tuesday
Dear season opens. Up early G + bunch left at 5 for Cedar Creek. I left at 6:30 for Effie's. Boy was it ever cold! We didn't see a tail of one, but got a lot of good laughs from Effie. Good dinner too. Not much mail. Eggs 70
November 21, 1951
Wednesday
8 above this morning! but it was still so it didn't seem so cold. Done up work in hurry. G +I left for Effie's saw 3 does over by the woods. Got back at 3:30; Tippy + Pie was in house asleep. Guy gone again. Paper says abotu 300 deer killed first day in all 3 counties. Gilbert B got one with gang to Cedar Creek the first day. Not much mail. Our coldest AM
