Monday

*Our Anniversary

Planned to go to Winc today, but didn’t go.

Got at washing....so had such a big wash. ML clothes too, nearly everything got dry.

G went to Mill for hogs + cows

Mr. P was buried today.

March 6, 1951

Tuesday

Lovely day, we ironed all day….and I mean ironed!

M feeling some better, don’t have to cough quite as much now.

No mail much.

March 7, 1951

Wednesday

Pigs 2 weeks old

Very nice day. Cloudy some, sun out some. Rained some.

Was pretty good after all we ironed, washed some, patched some, watered flowers, washed windows.

Mrs. D was down a while. I worked eggs in PM.

G went fishing, got 2 big, 1 little was to go to Frankie’s for supper, but he didn’t come home in time.

No mail from E.

March 8, 1951

Thursday

Cloudy for rain. Had good fish for breakfast

Had mail from E, got home okay.

Only 6 eggs broke today

March 9, 1951

Friday

I was busy sewing all day. Made Mrs S 3 slips, hemmed her dress up, pressed them ready. Have more sewing to do.

ML worked some too. Has made 28 of 30 squares for her afghan.
