Wednesday
We ironed everything. E put edge on quilt. Then we put quilt in frames up stairs. E said she felt like a squirt all day. . G + R went up to the Stock Sale, taken 1 calf back. In evening R, E + I went up to town to see and hear about Doug. He was out riding his motorcycle out from Harrisburg Sun Am and was crossing the rail road tracks; his wheel slipped out from under him broke hip, right leg below knee, hurt right arm, and cut several places in his head. He was taken to H hospital for aid and on Wed noon they called ML that he was able to leave so she + Helen took a cab up to see him. Leg has a big cast, he is meant to go back up in 6 weeks.
